The Struggle within ourselves
Heb 4:15-16 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
- Guard ourselves and be honest with ourselves.
- Sin starts out small and then grows to be big.
1Co 9:24-27 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 1Co 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 1Co 9:26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 1Co 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
- Run in such a way that we don’t run into trouble.
- Running around with the wrong crowd.
- Keep good friends around us.
- Society is falling apart.NO prayer, NO bible and no discipline.
- Sin is increased.
- How can we combat society and sin?
- Being humble and never giving up.
- Pride comes before a fall.
