What Should Be Our Emphasis When We Witness.
- I believe the answer to that question depends on the spiritual maturity, spiritual receptivity, and Biblical literacy of the people to whom we are speaking.
- Are we speaking to Jews or to non-Jews? To Messianic Jews or to Orthodox Jews or to Conservative, Reform, or secular Jews? To Gentile Christians or to non- Christians?
THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM
- WHAT DO WE TELL NON-CHRISTIANS?
- IF THEY KNOW WHO YAHSHUA(JESUS AS THE WORLD CALLS HIM).
Matt.16:18-19 Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Mat 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
WHEN DID PETER USE THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM
Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Acts 2:14 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
Acts 2:37-39 Act 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Yahshua Messiah for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Act 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as Yahweh our Elohim shall call.
- If you meet a stranger that does not know who Yahshua is.Than you have to start with a more basic wittness.
How to explain your Hebraic roots to a Christian?
- Most Christians will tell you that they are Gentiles and serve a new covenant.
Heb.8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
- The Christian will probably tell you that they are grafted in to the church.
- Ask them which house were they grafted into.(Heb.8:8)
- It’s time to let them off the hook or you will run them off.
- Try to explain that Yahshua was a Israelite.Ask “What did Yahshua do”?
- Try to show in scripture that Yahshua and the Apostles kept the customs of Moses.
- Do not call it the law at this time.
